How LERVA works

LERVA.news is a public alpha of NoorX Live: every report is compiled automatically from official open data, validated, and published without an editorial desk. It is not a press publication and does not replace official information. For disaster warnings, follow BMKG and BNPB.

Pipeline

SOURCE → EVENT → EVIDENCE → STORY → VALIDATION → RISK GATE → PUBLISH → UPDATE → AUDIT

• Sources are checked every 5 minutes. One event = one story with a stable URL; new data creates revisions, not duplicates.
• Validation: every number in the text must appear in the evidence table; any damage or casualty claim outside an explicit “unknown” sentence holds the story for review.
• Risk gate: only official data (tier A) and model-based alerts (tier B) publish automatically. Politics, people, allegations and legal matters never auto-publish.
• Corrections are shown openly above the story; retracted stories stay online with the reason.

Source fact = straight from the agency; reported = an agency estimate (e.g. PAGER, GDACS); derived = computed by LERVA; risk context = InaRISK long-term index, not damage; unknown = no source yet.

Ranking

Open configuration (NoorX Live spec §15–17):

breaking = 0.45·freshness + 0.25·velocity + 0.20·impact + 0.10·confidence
priority = 0.45·impact + 0.25·confidence + 0.15·velocity + 0.15·strategic
trending = real readers only — no seeded counts

• BMKG — Indonesian earthquakes (open data; attribution required)
• USGS — ASEAN/world quakes and independent corroboration (public domain)
• GDACS (PBB · Komisi Eropa) — floods, cyclones, volcanoes, droughts
• ECB — euro reference rates; rupiah cross rates computed by LERVA
• BNPB InaRISK — population, hazard index, boundaries
• GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) — town names

Privacy

No cookies, no third-party analytics. The reader counter uses an anonymous random ID kept in your browser; LERVA stores no IP addresses. The site is served by Cloudflare.
